OLHOC | ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
FAST FACTS
THE DETAILS
"The quality and attention to detail of the finished project extends beyond our overall expectations. This quality and attention to detail is beyond what we are getting from any other architectural firms..." - Mark Middleton, BER Project Administrator, Catholic Education
The new two-level building facing the street, provides a repositioned entry and gateway to the school, welcoming students and parents alike. The concept for the new building as conceived through across the board collaboration, resulted in an architectural outcome that redefines the identity of the school in a contemporary manner.
Numerous consultative sessions were held with the stakeholders, including school staff and parents, which radically changed the main circulation spine within the school brought together and connected all the previously segregated buildings and outdoor spaces. Bold use of colour with a restricted palette help define and identify the buildings. New graphics were also part of the works.
The new Admin Building forms a welcoming addition to the face of the school, resolving some of the security issues and providing a safe covered on site pick up area for the children.
